I have long been atributed to my wonderful singing abilities, primarily those of the more creative side when putting words to song - already written music, that is. See, I take an already existing piece of music and put my own words to it, writing them as they come to me. I sing for daddy, I sing for bedtime, I sing for pee pees, I sing for dinner - I sing for almost anything! Nothing is beyond the bounds of my imagination.
Today I wrote another piece just for mummy. It was coming up to 5.30pm - half an hour past my alloted dinner time, mind you - and I was feeling a little peckish. Mummy had left a little present in my cot this morning for when I woke - a smoked hock and some off cuts from a soup she made last night. Now even though I woke to this delicious treat and have snacked on the hock/bone on and off all day, come 5pm it's dinner time! So when mummy ignored this fact and kept on chatting to her online friends (sheesh! the computer again? Can you believe it?), I derived this little ditty to prompt her into seeing to my needs. The tune is "Daisy, Daisy", but the words are MINE!
Mummy mummy
I want dinner now
I'm so hungry
I could eat a cow
So get into the kitchen
And don't you bother bitchin'
Cause I'm hungry
And need a feed
Or I'll fade into a shadow.

Well, it seemed to have worked....because not five minutes later, out comes mummy from the kitchen laden with both my dinner dish of chicken and fresh water (filtered, I might add - only the best for me, you know!)
So now that I've had my dinner, and a drink of yummy fresh filtered water....*yawn*....I think it's time for a nap. I always like to have a nap after dinner. I don't know why....I just get....so....*sigh*..... 'cause it's....just....so.....exhausting.....
